Hello from an exhausted Gamesmaker!  I was up at 4am to ensure I would make my 6am shift as a VIP driver for the Medical team (any specialist who needs to test athletes who are questioned about their performace and possibly needs further testing).  Martin and I have volunteered for ten days of ten hour shifts.  We do get to drive brand new BMW’s and visit many of the Olympic sites.  The other volunteers are terrific (in the main) and spirit in London is FANTASTIC.  There was an article in yesterday’s Evening Standard describing the role: http://www.standard.co.uk/olympics/olympic-news/games-makers-hailed-as-saviours-of-the-london-games-7987174.html

We have been able to attend the start of the cycling, rowing at Eton Dorney yesterday, Wembley last night and the thrill of watching excellent athletes punctuates our experience all the more.  Once I get sleep, photos will follow!
